"This book is similar to Cathy Malchiodi's now dated 1998 book, Medical Art Therapy with Children, which has sold over 3000 copies. Each chapter focuses on a different diagnosis/area of healthcare (e.g. oncology, transplants, respiratory diagnosis, medical trauma). They each include a case study and end with discussion questions looking at the different interventions, making it more suitable as a course text. This is a key area of practice for art therapists and yet there are very few books addressing it"-- Provided by publisher
